Clinical Supervision

Professional, reliable and competent clinical supervision can enhance the

performance of a team, reduce staff turnover and burnout, and most importantly

increase the positive impacts of your addiction treatment teams. If you are finding

that your team is struggling to maintain deadlines, documentation, positive work culture,

and overall does not seem to be functioning properly this service may be of interest.

These packages are practical solutions for agencies, managers, Executive Directors,

that cannot be all things to all staff.

Clinical supervision contracts can be customized to the needs of your team. Onsite and offsite

(remote) solutions, or a combination thereof, are available. Clinical supervision is a process between the supervisor, the practitioner, and the agency.

Base Package (1 – 4 supervisees): All packages include the following.

  •  Initial meeting to outline roles and responsibilities of both supervisor and supervisee. Set meeting schedule, sign supervision contract, and outline growth trajectory

  • Monthly meetings and file reviews. These meetings will consist of skill building discussions based on predetermined target areas, monitoring of documentation, and dedicated time for Q&A.  The Q&A session is an opportunity for the supervisee to present and discuss a case.

  • File reviews are implemented to check quality and quantity of documentation in accordance with most legal bodies, and accreditation standards.

  • Quarterly on-site meeting and file review.

  • Clinical supervision reports to be submitted on a pre-determined schedule with the agency contact person. These reports will outline progress, strengths, and areas for continued growth, and will be reviewed with the supervisee prior to submission with the agency.

Intermediate Package (5 – 9 Supervisees or less): Includes all services in the base package, and the following.

  • One bi-monthly group supervision and case presentation. This allows for a team culture of support to develop, improves team communication, and fosters mutual accountability.

Intensive Package (10 -15 Supervisees or less): Includes all services in the Base and Intermediate package.

  • This package is ideal for teams consisting of mostly new practitioners.

  • Increases one-on-one supervision to bi-weekly instead of monthly.

  • Bi-monthly on-site meeting

  • Individual training plan for each supervisee in accordance with agency policies and predetermined targets.
